Minecraft Sleepover

To kick off our year of celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Cubs, 26 very excited Cherokee Cubs spent the night at the Den this weekend doing all things Minecraft!

This included playing Minecraft on computers with tasks to complete, making edible Minecraft blocks by decorating cakes and making chocolate krispie buns. We had a competition playing creeper bowling and pin the tail on the pig, with our blindfold being Steve’s head! We also got creative with papercrafts and making a model creeper out of cardboard and lots of green paint.

We even had our traditional game of Bingo before bed, but with a Minecraft twist! We enjoyed a treat of pizza for supper and sausage sandwiches & eggy bread for breakfast.

All of the Cubs had a brilliant time and even managed to get a few hours sleep! Completing all of the activities earned the Cubs the Minecrafter badge.
