Hessle Beavers took part in the 2016 Jamboree on the Trail today, along with all the other sections in Hessle Scout Group. The Explorers, Apache and Navajo Scouts set off early this morning from the Humber Bridge, going southbound across the bridge and headed to South Ferriby. There they met up with Arapaho and Cherokee Cubs and continued the walk along the waters edge to Barton. The Beavers meanwhile set off across the Humber Bridge, also heading down into Barton where they met with the everyone else. We then all made the walk back across the bridge, to the scout den in Hessle, where we were met by parents for our Annual General Meeting and a BBQ for tea. Fantastic teamwork from everyone taking part, and well done to Beavers walking about 5 miles.
