Hessle Beavers took part in a hike with a challenge for Water Aid. We walked from Hessle Foreshore into the Humber Bridge Country Park where we filled our milk bottles with water from the pond, learning about water safety whilst we were there. Dementia Friends
This week Beavers had a visit from Dementia Friends as part of their A Million Hands Project. They learnt all about how the brain works and how Dementia affects everyday tasks that we take for granted. At the end of the session they talked about how they can help by raising awareness.
