Apache scout Pioneering projects 11/05/16

The Scouts had a night of pioneering, using poles and garden canes they built camp gadgets, practicing, ready for the Group camp in July. Wash stands and clothes driers were made in various configurations using traditional scouting knots.

Backwoods Cooking on Hessle Foreshore 04/05/16

Apache Scouts had a night of ‘Backwoods Cooking’ on the Hessle foreshore. The scouts split in to teams and prepared their fires, looking at all aspects of preparation,  fire lighting and cooking on open fires.
