Melton Bottom Sleepover

This weekend Cherokee Cubs went on their first night away of the summer to Melton Bottom Campsite, where we slept inside for 1 night.

On the Friday evening 4 new Cubs were invested before we set off for a walk. However the heavens opened as we were about to leave! So after a small delay we set off down to the Foreshore near Ferriby. It was then back to the site for hotdogs and hot chocolate before bed.

The Cubs were up bright and early, despite not much sleep, ready for the days activities! Everyone got to have a go at archery and crate stacking in between the showers before it was time to go home.

For many it was their first night away with Cubs and we hope it has given them the confidence to join us for Group Camp!
