Christmas at Raywell

Forest Beavers had a weekend at Raywell themed all around Christmas. On Saturday Beavers made their own lunch (including sausage rolls) as part of their Cook badge and then completed some orienteering around Raywell Park. Later they made paracord keyrings, Christmas crackers and decorations and pot bags, whilst preparing all the vegetables for our Christmas Dinner. in the evening we had an indoor campfire followed by games of bingo.

On Sunday we were joined by Beetle Beavers to take part in the Humberside Scouts ‘Christmas comes to Raywell’ event where Beavers made decorations, had faces painted, tried soft archery and axe throwing as well as crawling through the cave bus. They got to visit Santa in his grotto and made reindeer food, as well as sing some Christmas songs around the campfire.
